Lisnalurg Churches - Sligo Town
Hust north of Sligo Town, Lisnalurg is home to a large, megalithic monument that features embanked enclosures used for ceremonial purposes. The structure dates from 2,500 to 1,800 BC.

Sligo Abbey - Sligo Town
This Sligo Town landmark was founded in 1252/3 and contains a great wealth of carvings including Gothic and Renaissance tomb sculptures and the only sculptured 15th Century high altar to survive in any Irish monastic church.
Deerpark Court Tomb - Sligo Town, Co. Sligo
Is considered by many to be the finest example of a central court tomb in Ireland. It occupies a magnificent position on top of a limestone ridge overlooking Lough Gill in Co Sligo.
Hazelwood Sculpture - Trail Sligo Town
Half Moon Bay curls around the northern shore of Lough Gill 3km from Sligo Town. Hidden within the woods is Hazelwood Sculpture Trail, a 3km forested trail dotted with sculptures by Irish and international sculptors.
Lough Gill - Sligo Town, Co. Sligo
Is a large lake, nearly six and a half miles long and two and a half miles wide. There is public access to the lough from a pier on the south shore at the
mouth of the Garavoge River, at Inishfree Pier and at Shriff Bay.
Benbulben Natural Landscape
Benbulben is known as County Sligo's 'Table Mountain' and is part of the Dartry Mountains. It is a spectacular iconic geolical feature hosting a unique variety of flora. The Sligo Tourism Office do not recommend climing Benbulben. There is however a looped walk around Benbulben and Sligo Tourism Office can give you details of this.
Sligo Secret Gardens - Sligo Town
Consists of a group of gardens open to the public for charity on selected dates throughout the summer. Some of the gardens offer light refreshments and are also open on additional days by appointment.
Doorly Park National & Forest Parks - Sligo Town
Is located along by the riverside in Sligo Town. About 15 minute walk from the town centre. In the 19th Century Colonel W.G Woodmartin of Cleveragh developed this wetland on his estate.
St John's Cathedral - Sligo Town
Is an Anglican house of worship found in Sligo Town and thought to be located on the site of a 13th-century hospital and parish church. German
Richard Cassels designed the present cathedral in the mid-1700s.
Sligo County Museum - Sligo Town
In Sligo Town is divided between the Yeats Collection, Countess Markievic memorabilia and local artefacts. Pride of place is given over to Yeats' Nobel Prize medal and citation.
